Hey guys!
I know it's my second post today but I want to tell you about my experiences with the English language.
I had my
first experiences with the English language at the age of six. Back then I
learned easy words and phrases like “I have got a doll” and things like that.
Even then it was noticeable that learning a language is not very difficult for
me. I’m good at dealing with languages. This is why I chose to study English! I
like it and I think I’m good at it.
During the
last five years I didn’t like our English lessons because our teacher wasn’t
the kind of teacher that can motivate pupils so the lessons always were very
dry and quite boring. I liked the English language though and so I decided to
start reading novels written in English and I still do that. I also started to
watch series with the original soundtrack.
Back in
schooldays people always used to ask me for advice when it came to languages. Actually
I have to admit that I sometimes just have a feeling for the language. I can’t
explain why I do something. This is a point that bothers me very much! I especially
want to improve my vocab because I want to be able to communicate more
fluently!
As I am a
visual learner it’s easier for me to remember things when I see or hear them.
That’s why I started to write vocabulary on post-it’s and put them on furniture
in our apartment – so I can see the words and maybe it will be easier for me to
remember!
What do you think about the English language? Do you like it?
Btw - did anyone try the cookies yet? Tell me if you did!
